How to pick a phone charger
Check your phone maker’s tech specs for the fast-charge wattage, then buy a USB-C charger rated at or above it that supports the same standard (USB Power Delivery for iPhone). A higher-watt USB-C PD charger is fine — Apple, for example, says “20W adapter or higher”. Many new phones no longer include a charger in the box, only a cable. Laptop chargers by wattage: all wattages.
